The Communications Office represents and promotes Facilities Services and its employees,

programs and services to a variety of internal and external constituents.
Responsibilities of the Communications Office include:

Pitching stories to and responding to requests from the media |

Producing publications such as newsletters, annual reports and various promotional materials, as well as drafting official Division correspondence |

Managing the overall look and content of the Facilities Services Web site |
| • |
Providing editorial, photographic, graphic design, publicity and print production services to departments, shops and administrative offices throughout Facilities Services |
| • |
Partnering with University departments as necessary on strategic communications efforts, public records requests, media relations and various higher education issues |
Facilities Services' Communications Director Brandon Thomas also serves as Director of Communications for UNC's
Auxiliary Services.
